Hey Jonathan Bailor here and today’s secret for simplifying your scrumptious daily SANE Smoothie habit is a recipe that I enjoy every day…sometimes two times per day…because it can be both a beautiful breakfast and a delicious dessert.

To get started let’s go over our ingredients.

  1. ¼ cup chia seeds
  2. ¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  3. 1 TBSP coconut flour
  4. ⅓ TSP cinnamon
  5. ⅓ TSP vanilla
  6. 4 TBSP Clean Whey (or if you are a vegan Clean Pea) protein
  7. ⅛ TSP guar gum
  8. 1 TSP unflavored gelatin
  9. 1 drop peppermint oil
  10. 1 cup of water and adjust to your desired consistency
  11. 1 TBSP Slimming Sugar Substitute and adjust to your desired level of sweetness

Now, here’s where the magic happens. Add all the ingredients to your Vitamix and start blending on a slow speed and slowly turn it up to high…blending for 15 seconds…and adding water as you go as needed.

After that you are going to add a handful of ice. Blend for another 15 seconds and enjoy! You can blend longer for a fluffier texture 🙂

That’s the cereal-like breakfast version which you can see is absolutely packed with super SANE foods that will give you all day energy while helping you burn belly fat and think clearly all day. You can of course adjust the ingredients up or down to find your favorite taste, texture, and consistency. Also, I never make one smoothie a time. Same thing applies here. I can fit four of these it a single 64oz Vitamix jar and I freeze the ones I’m not going to drink right away. You can thaw them in the fridge overnight or in a few hours at room temperature and then given them a quick reblend for the best taste and texture.

If you’d like something chocolately, add ¼ cup of raw undutched cocoa powder. This doesn’t impact your SANEScore as raw unductched cocoa powder is a “free food,” but it will really help reduce your cravings, curb your appetite, and give you one of the most concentrated doses of disease fighting antioxidants you can image. You may need to also add a bit more Slimming Sugar Substitute if you add raw undutched cocoa powder, but that totally depends on how sweet you want your smoothie to be. For the dessert version, the only difference is you definitely want to add that cocoa, more Slimming Sugar Substitute, and more ice. This creates a super SANE sort of ice cream. While it’s not Ben & Jerry’s, I find it to be quite tasty, and I will take quite tasty and fat burning, energy boosting, and hormone healing all day!

There is a big difference between “taking a stimulant” and “having energy.” It’s like the difference between taking a broken down car and having a tow truck drag it along, versus repairing the car so it drives smoothly, consistently.

In the tow truck case, something external temporarily tries to makes up for an internal breakdown. Let’s call that external thing a stimulant. In the repair case, something internal is fixed and enables to car to function flawlessly.

Think about yourself like that car. When you are extremely stressed, sick, and sleep deprived, a “tow truck” stimulant like caffeine can drag you along. However, that is not at all the same as the smooth consistent energy you enjoy when you feel your best.

While every smoothie secret will help repair the internal breakdowns making you dependent on stimulants, this secret will help you bridge the gap. It gives you the natural “jump start” you need while fixing the underlying internal breakdown.

  1. Place 4oz. of lukewarm water into your Vitamix
  2. Add a ¼ cup of raw undutched cocoa powder (I prefer heirloom Criollo cacao (cocoa) power)
  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  4. Add 1/8 teaspoon of guar gum
  5. Add 5 drops of peppermint oil (I get mine on Amazon)
  6. Blend on a medium-low speed until completely mixed
  7. Pour it into a small up and drink it like a shots of liquor (aka drink a “shot” of it)
  8. Enjoy as needed throughout the day

If you’d like you can add more water and sip this like you would coffee or tea. You can also drink it hot, whatever works best for you.

So here’s that simple four step process to get you started on SANE “All Veggie” smoothie experimentation. Again, remember to smile each time you try this because every time you blend, you are one step closer to unlocking your perfect personalized recipe and it will change your life forever, I promise.

Step 1: CREATE THE BASE: Put two cups of cold water into your Vitamix and then pack two big handfuls of spinach, two big handfuls of romaine, one peeled lemon, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and one to three teaspoons of raw undistilled apple cider vinegar

Step 2: BOOST THE TASTE: Add a peeled orange, or a cup of frozen strawberries, or a tablespoon or two of SANE Slimming Sugar Substitute, or whatever combination of these SANE Sweeteners works best for you.

Step 3: SPEED-UP YOUR RESULTS: Add two to four tablespoons of your favorite SANESuperfoods. Your long-term success is perfectly proportional to the amount of veggies you eat daily, so having another simple and scrumptious way to enjoy them is a game changer!

Step 1: Add a cup of warm water and veggies. Specifically, four raw servings (look on the packaging for serving sizes) of any of the following non-starchy veggies (or any combo of them that sounds good to you): cauliflower, red bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and/or mushrooms. Other veggies can work, but these veggies work best in your vitamix for soup. Frozen veggies are fine. In fact, I make my SANE Soup with the frozen blend of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots sold at Costco.

Step 2: Add creamy goodness. If you’d like to increase your intake of healthy fats, use 3 tablespoons of coconut cream. If you’d like to increase your intake of healthy protein, use a serving of plain unsweetened greek yogurt. Either way, also add ? of a teaspoon of guar gum. Last, add garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.

Step 3: Blend till hot. This is where the magic happens and your Vitamix will really shine. Start on low and then turn your Vitamix up to high and let it blend till you see steam coming out of the top of your Vitamix. This takes between 3 and 5 minutes…

As its blending feel free to add water to thin it out or guar gum to thicken it up until to find your perfect consistency.

After about 4 minutes you’ll have delicious piping hot soup that will blast belly fat and help heal your hormones!
